CALIFORNIA
- San Francisco Bay Area Rebates:
- PG&E offers a $200 rebate for gas storage water heaters with an efficiency rating of .67 or higher
- PG&E offers a $500 rebate for electric heat pump water heaters with an efficiency rating of 2.0 or higher
- To be eligible for either of the above rebates, the water heater must be at least 40 gallons
- Los Angeles/Ventura/Orange County:
- Tier 1: SoCal Natural Gas offers a $30 rebate for Energy Star gas water heaters with an efficiency rating of .62 to .66
- Tier 2: SoCal Natural Gas offers a $75 rebate for Energy Star gas water heaters with an efficiency rating of .67 or higher
- SoCal Natural Gas offers a $200 rebate on gas tankless water heaters with an efficiency rating of .90 or higher and a $150 rebate for gas tankless water heaters with an efficiency rating of .82 or higher
